Two Years of Growth, Patience & Trusting the Process
Every loc journey tells a unique story, and Porsche's is one that I've had the pleasure of witnessing from the very beginning.
On September 8, 2024, Porsche began her loc journey with 116 Small Traditional 2 Strand Starter Locs, with square parts.
Porsche holds a special place in my journey as a Loctician because she was one of my very first clients after relocating to the DMV area. Two years later, I'm incredibly grateful to still be a part of her journey and to witness the beautiful transformation of her locs.

Over time, her locs have developed more character, fullness, and length as they've progressed through the different stages of the locking process.
One of the beautiful features of Porsche's journey is her maintained curly ends, which add softness and dimension to the overall appearance of her locs.
Her journey is a wonderful example of how Traditional 2 Strand Starter Locs can transform over time while maintaining their individuality.
Trusting the Process
Loc journeys are not overnight transformations. They require patience, consistency, and an understanding that every stage of development has a purpose.
What begins as a set of 2 strand twists gradually evolves as the locs develop and mature.
Porsche's locs are growing, thriving, and continuing to develop beautifully.
Watching that progression over the past two years has been incredibly rewarding.
